A vacation to Italy is at the top of many people’s “dream” list. Although some might plan to take a vacation where they visit one city and stay there the whole time, most such trips will entail “a few days here, a few days there.” After all, most tourists might dream of not only visiting Italy, but of coming back again and again; but these tourists also realize that their trip might just be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and they do not want to miss out on anything that might be great to see. If you are fortunate enough to take a trip to Italy, spending a few days here and a few days there, it is likely that Florence will be one of the cities on your agenda. If you do visit Florence, here are three places to make sure you see, even if your time there is limited!

1) Piazza della Signoria: This was originally the focal point of both the origin and history of the Florentine Republic, and still today it keeps up its reputation as the political hub of the city. It is known for its rich history and its immense beauty, which includes several famous and beautiful buildings such as the Palazzo Vecchio, the Loggia dei Lanzi, and the Pallazo Ugoccioni. A recreation of Michelangelo’s statue “David” is just one of the beautiful pieces of art you will see, as is Bartolomeo Ammannati’s 1575 creation, the Foutain of Neptune.

2) Brancacci Chapel: This chapel contains a breathtaking mural whose history is nearly as intriguing as the mural itself; before the mural was restored from 1981 to 1991, its history already stretched back to 1424, and over six decades the mural passed through the hands of four different artists.

3) Santa Croce: Some of the most famous Italians in history are interred within this church, including Galileo, Machiavelli, and Michelangelo. It is the largest Franciscan church in the world, and its sixteen chapels are beautifully adorned with frescoes painted by Giotti and his pupils. This church is truly a breathtaking sight, and is a mastery of craftsmanship that you will remember seeing forever.

Although your time might be limited when you finally make it to Italy – as you spend only a day or two in each city – you now know some of the best sights to see in Florence, and you will be sure to make your trip a success.

You might think painting the inside of your house is no more complicated than breaking a roller out of its package and getting to work. But there is a reason why professional painters are hired for so many painting jobs: painting a room can be some serious work! At the same time, however, you can save money, be in control, and maybe even enjoy it, if you learn how to paint your walls on your own!

One of the most important aspects of painting your walls is making sure you have the color you want before you get started. After all, it can be quite disheartening to spend two whole days painting a room, only to realize you wish you had painted the room something totally different.

Next, make sure you cover everything as best you can, because paint is not easy to get off your carpet, wood floors, and furniture. In the room you are painting, move out everything that you can move out, and cover everything else with a tarp or with an old blanket. Remember: it is easy for paint to drip, even if you are being careful, so take the time to make sure a disaster does not happen to you!

Making sure you have the right equipment for the job will make it a whoe lot easier as well. Get a good ladder that reaches all the way up to the ceiling, and get a good, wide, sturdy brush for all the edging work. Make sure you are taking the time to do the edging work right, as well; it might be the most tedious part, but it is also the most important! After the edging is done at last, you can break the rollers out of the package at last, and you can get to work on the big stuff.

The room that you work in for painting should be very well ventilated, and you also need to make sure that pets and children stay away. Once you get the hang of it, painting can be somewhat easy and even a bit of fun; but don’t take any shortcuts – take the time to do things right, and you will be rewarded!

These days, airport security has been tightened more than ever before, and even though a lot of people complain about it, it is for their own safety! And as inconvenient as some of these safety measures are, it is best to deal with them as effectively as possible – since you have to deal with them regardless! If you follow these simple tips, you will find that airport security is no longer a hassle at all; in fact, it will be a breeze!

In order to do well with airport security, you need to know how to dress in a way that will make it easy to follow the rules. And of course, you will need to know what the rules are before you can even do this!

Before you can go through the full-body scanner that airports are now using, you will have to remove your belt as well as your shoes. This means that you will want to wear shoes that are easy to take on and off, and you will want to wear pants that will stay up without a belt! You will be in best shape of all if you wear pants that do not even require a belt – and also, you will probably want to wear socks with your shoes!

Your pockets will also have to be completely emptied before you can go through the full-body scanner. Make sure you go to the airport with pockets that are mostly-empty already, as this will make things easier – and store your money in one of your bags. As unlikely as it is that someone will snatch up your money, it does sometimes happen; you will be better off with your money stowed away than with it out in the open.

Also, keep in mind that your laptop will need to be placed in its own container – outside of your laptop bag. Make sure that your laptop is easy to get to, and that it is easy to slip back into the bag!

Most of these tips come down to knowing what to expect at the airport, and to knowing how to follow what they expect you to follow!

All right, you ended up with a traffic ticket. Maybe you were in an area you didn’t know, and you were speeding because you had no clue what the speed limit was. Maybe you had expired tags, and you didn’t realize your tags were expired because you never got that reminder in the mail that the DMV is supposed to send. Heck, maybe you were just plain late for work and you were speeding on purpose. Regardless of how or why you got your ticket, the city expects you to pay it. Because people hear about “unpaid parking tickets” that have piled up under someone’s name, they sometimes think traffic tickets must be the same way; sure, they plan to pay it, but they’ll pay it “when they get around to it.” If this thought is on your mind, think again! Paying your ticket late might seem minor, but it can make your life very complicated; the court will likely raise your fine; they will probably issue a warrant for your arrest; and even once they get the money from you, you’ll probably have to pay to reinstate your license. Instead of complicating your life like this, just pay your ticket on time or early – it is very easy to do!

Paying early by mail: The main thing to remember if you choose this option is that, in most cities, the payment must have been made by the due date. This does not mean that your letter needs to be postmarked by that date; it means that the letter has to have reached them, and the check or money order must have cleared! Keep this in mind to avoid “late payment.”

Paying early by other means: Many cities allow you to pay in a drop box at the courthouse, which lets you pay on any day leading up to the due date in an easy manner. Another easy “pay-early” option is “pay online.” While not all cities allow online payments, check and see what the case is for your city. This option makes paying your ticket no more difficult that buying a new shirt online.

Paying at court: You should go with this option only if you have delayed too long to pay by any other means. If your name sits near the back end of the alphabet, make sure you bring a book along! You might be there for quite a while, as the courtroom is likely to be full. Once your name is finally called, all you have to do is plead guilty to the traffic ticket, and then you can pay.

Getting a traffic ticket is never fun, and paying a traffic ticket is even less fun. But if you fail to pay your ticket, the “less fun” of getting and paying the ticket will be the least of your concerns.

You probably had a teacher when you were a kid who told you to clench your fist and look at it. And then, they said, “This is how big your heart is.” You could do this same exercise right now, but even though you might still be surprised to find how small your heart is, you surely will not be surprised to know how important it is. Without the heart, the body receives no blood, and without blood the body cannot function. This means that a healthy heart is among the most important things you can maintain if you want a healthy body. Even though the heart can seem like an abstract object hidden away in your chest, there are many tangible things you can do to keep a healthy heart.

A healthy diet is a big part of having a healthy heart – but more than just a healthy diet, you need to know what goes into a heart-healthy diet. Among the foods that can help your heart remain healthy are salmon, which can keep abnormal blood clotting from occurring, and leafy green vegetables, which decrease calcification in the arteries. Apples are another food that is good for preventing blood clotting, and you can actually even help regulate your heart rhythm by eating almonds. If you want to lower cholesterol, eat oats and drink green tea; in fact, green tea can also relax the arteries. You can watch both your heart and your body begin to perform better as you learn what goes into a heart-healthy diet.

There are also a lot of different supplements that can help the cardiovascular system in a lot of different ways. In order to reduce inflammation of blood vessels, you should take Omega-3 essential fatty acids. You can find Omega-3 essential fatty acids in some foods, but you can also find them in supplements that are designed especially to provide your body with this beneficial element. You can also improve your heart’s functionality by taking Vitamin B6 supplements and supplements that contain magnesium.

There is plenty that you can do to improve your heart’s health and happiness, but the first steps begin with eating foods and adding supplements that will help your heart. By knowing what these foods and supplements are, you are well on your way to having a healthy heart.

Over the last few years, lots of popular parks in different towns and cities have had portions turned into “dog parks.” These dog parks are fenced-in areas that are designed to be a place where dogs can be off their leashes and can play and interact with other dogs. But as great as dog parks are, many people – even people who have been taking their dogs to the park for years – have avoided them. After all, no one wants to go into a dog park but be clueless as to what the proper etiquette is! You will have no need to avoid dog parks yourself, however, once you read this simple guide and understand the basics of dog park etiquette!

Most dog parks are separated into at least two areas – one for large dogs, and one for small dogs – and some dog parks also have a third area for dogs who are medium-sized. You will want to make sure you bring your dog into the right area when you go, so pay close attention to the markings.

                    amzn_wdgt.tag='';
                    amzn_wdgt.widgetType='SearchAndAdd';
                    amzn_wdgt.keywords='dog training';
                    amzn_wdgt.browseNode='1000';
                    amzn_wdgt.width='600';
                    amzn_wdgt.height='200';

If you are wanting to take your dog to a dog park to interact with other dogs, it is unlikely that your dog is an aggressive breed. But if you do have an aggressive dog, you should probably not bring it to the dog park; after all, dog parks are not training grounds.

You should also be aware of the fact that many dog parks do not allow you to bring in food or glass bottles. These rules are in place to keep the dog parks free from clutter and safe for the dogs, so they are good rules to follow!

Check out these accelerated dog training tips!

And cleaning up after your dog when it goes to the bathroom is probably the biggest rule of all that you will need to make sure you follow. Dog parks typically have baggies and disposal bins all around them, so make sure you put them to good use.

As long as you know the rules of dog parks, they can be a great place for your dog to interact with other dogs – and they can also be a great place for you to interact with others!

You will naturally want to add brightly colored fish to your fish tank if you are running a saltwater tank. The yellow tang is at the top of the list of brightly colored fish, and is a favorite of many saltwater enthusiasts. Before you go and buy a yellow tang to add color to your own saltwater tank, however, make sure you find out whether they are the right fish for your tank.

One of the main considerations to keep in mind about the yellow tang is the fact that they are partial to plants. This means that, if you have live plants in your tank, you may want to think twice before adding a yellow tang to the mix, or the plants may not survive!

Another imporant thing to keep in mind is the size to which yellow tangs grow – usually six to eight inches. Because of this, you need a tank that accommodates its size; 75 gallons will work, but optimally, you want 100 gallons or more. These fish need room to roam, and even though your 55 gallon tank might look big to you, it will not feel big to them! They can be reef safe and good tankmates, but if they do not have enough room all this can go out the window.

If the other fish in your tank are close to the same size as your yellow tang, they will typically do just fine interacting with the other fish. They are semi-aggressive, however, and if you have much smaller fish clogging up their area, they will not take kindly to this.

Finally, you should take note of the fact that the yellow tang needs their water a bit cooler than some other saltwater fish like it – somewhere between 72 and 78 degrees. Another thing to keep in mind when deciding whether the yellow tang is right for your tank is the fact that they require salinity between 1.020 and 1.025.

As long as the yellow tang is a good fit for your tank, they can be a fun and friendly addition; just make sure you do your research first, and find out whether they are right for you!

Airport security has been significantly escalated over the last ten years, and while many people complain about it, it is also for their own safety! But even though you have no choice but to deal with these escalated security measures, this does not mean that you should also be treated rudely on the plane! While some people wonder why those at the airport are always so polite to some while they are less-accommodating to others, it is often simply because of this one travel secret; and if you are a younger person traveling, this secret is especially applicable!

When you travel (especially if you are between the ages of 18 and 32), the one thing you have to do in order to be treated well is this: dress nice! Realize that this does not mean you need to go out to the mall and pick up some new, expensive, “hip” outfit to wear on the plane! This simply means that – before you head to the airport – you should take the time to make sure you look professional. If you want to be treated with respect and good service when you fly, do not wear flip flops and pajamas; instead, wear a dress (for girls) or a dress shirt (for guys).

It is not that flight attendants or those who work at the airline counters are mean or judgemental; it is simply that they deal with lots of people every day, all day long, and they have been conditioned to learn to expect a certain type of customer depending on how the person dresses. Through no fault of their own (and through no magic of your own!), these airline employees will expect you to be polite and accommodating if you are a well-dressed young person. And in this way, the airline employees tend to be polite and accommodating in turn!

Even though it does not provide you with optimum comfort to wear a dress shirt instead of flip flops and pajamas, you just might find – when you give it a try – that the comfort of the travel experience more than makes up for the relative discomfort of your dressed-up clothes!

When it comes to resolving conflict in the home or in the workplace, it is important to do so in the least-acrimonious manner possible. There are many sets of tips and advice that can help anyone in becoming better at conflict resolution, but one of the most important is learning to choose your battles. Whether you are a coach, an athlete, a student, a teacher, a boss, an employee, a coworker, a parent, a sibling, or a son or daughter, it is important to know both how to resolve conflicts when it is necessary to do so and how to walk away from conflicts when it is not necessary to resolve them.

Choosing your battles first requires you recognize that it is not always important for someone else to feel that you are right. Many people feel that it is up to them to enlighten everyone else, and they therefore struggle with this aspect of conflict resolution. Oftentimes, you may find yourself in situations where you are right and someone else is wrong, but the situation will not call for you letting the other person know. Some example of this are the following: someone taking the wrong approach to a project of their own, or someone telling an inessential story and getting the facts wrong as they tell it. Whatever the case, recognizing that it is not always your place to correct someone else will go a long way in helping you avoid conflict to begin with.

Another thing to recognize is that there will be little things that annoy you in your interactions, but the other person may not be doing anything wrong. After all, you are probably doing some things that annoy other people as well, and they are keeping these things to themselves! The beauty of human beings is that each of us is different in small and large ways, and these differences are not always wrong. It is not up to you to force everyone else to conform to your ways; it is only up to you to learn to pick your battles!

Among all the beautiful and well-known vacation destinations in the United States, Florida sits somewhere near the top of the list. But even with all the wonderful things that come with a Florida vacation, there is also the consideration that Florida is an extremely popular destination. Because of its popularity, the beaches of Florida are often crowded, even if you can afford to rent a beach house intsead of staying in a crowded hotel. But there are a few places in Florida that are as quiet and serene as Florida has ever been, and Saint George Island is one of these spots.

A 22-mile barrier island, Saint George Island contains some of the quietest and most pristine beaches in the entire Gulf. Saint George Island offers miles of uncrowded beaches that are great for sunning, shelling, and fishing, with calm, beautiful water. And if you are a fan of wildlife, Saint George Island will especially appeal to you; it is well-known for its large population of sea turtles and dolphins!
